Anxiety & Stress
Racing thoughts, constant worry, overwhelm, pressure, or the feeling that your mind won't switch off.
A warm, thoughtful space for adolescents and young adults to slow down, make sense of what they're carrying, and feel a little less alone in it.
Therapy doesn't have to begin with having all the answers. It can begin with having a place where you don't have to pretend you're okay.
Whether you are overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply trying to understand yourself better, counselling can offer a space to pause and explore.
Racing thoughts, constant worry, overwhelm, pressure, or the feeling that your mind won't switch off.
Communication, boundaries, conflict, attachment, friendship concerns, and patterns that keep showing up.
Self-doubt, comparison, people-pleasing, harsh self-talk, and learning to relate to yourself with more kindness.
Exams, expectations, motivation, burnout, uncertainty, and the weight of feeling like you must get everything right.
Feeling stuck, choosing a path, navigating transitions, or figuring out who you are beyond achievement.
New chapters, changes in identity, moving cities, growing up, difficult decisions, and the emotions that come with change.
Hi, I'm Pragati. I'm a Counselling Psychologist who believes that therapy works best when you can show up as you are — without having to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have the “right” words.
My work is grounded in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where we can slow things down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and work together toward meaningful change.
My experience includes supervised therapeutic work, contractual therapy practice, psychological well-being settings, and clinical psychology internships. I continue to value supervision, ethical practice and ongoing learning.
Our work can be compassionate and honest at the same time. Sessions are a space to notice patterns, make sense of emotions, explore relationships and build a deeper understanding of yourself.
Bring whatever feels most present. You don't need a perfectly organised story.
We slow down and look at thoughts, emotions, experiences and patterns with curiosity.
We work toward making sense of what is happening and what may be keeping you stuck.
Over time, we identify ways of responding that feel more aligned, sustainable and intentional.

Short, grounded reflections on the things that often stay in our heads long after the conversation ends.
Overthinking is rarely just “thinking too much.” Often it is an attempt to find certainty, safety or control. Before you try to stop the thoughts, try asking what they are trying to protect you from.
If the thoughts keep coming back, you don’t have to untangle them alone.

The first session is a chance to understand what brings you to counselling, what you would like support with, and whether this feels like a good fit. You don't need to prepare a perfect explanation beforehand.
No. People seek counselling for many reasons, including stress, relationships, self-esteem, transitions, academic pressure and simply wanting a better understanding of themselves. A diagnosis is not a prerequisite for asking for support.
Yes. Heard & Held is primarily online, with sessions conducted via Google Meet. In-person sessions are considered only when necessary and feasible.

No. Heard & Held is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, please contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service rather than waiting for a counselling appointment.
